About Me

I am in my mid-twenties…. wow, that is the first time I’ve thought of it that way…. crazy.  My new hometown is Decatur, Georgia where I live with Kismet, my kitten.  I have a brilliant and adorable boyfriend who benefits greatly from this blog.  I love cooking, obviously.  Recently, I’ve started taking cooking classes at Cook’s Warehouse and am also a class assistant.  So much fun!  Other interests include reading and gardening as well as outdoorsy pasttimes such as  camping and kayaking.  I have a beautiful guitar, but I don’t know how to play.  In the great traditional of talented female cooks  ( Julia, Julie, Ina, my supervisor…),  I work for the government.  I’m thinking about learning to sew cute aprons….  Oh, and I compulsively buy cookbooks. Make that all books.
